My name is Tonya Farley and I am proud to be a teacher at Poteau Upper Elementary.

I have been teaching 4th grade reading and social studies since 2014 with the district.

I am the NEHS sponsor as well. Prior to coming to Poteau I had been a Certified Respiratory Therapist for nearly 20 years.

I became a teacher to make a difference. In my free time I spend time travelling with my husband, Jack.

We also spend time with our Australian Shepherds Trooper and Scout.

We have one daughter, Taylor, who is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
