Quotes From Students:

"The Poteau Adult Learning Center helped me in finding my career path; I am pursuing electrical technology and hope to someday work in that field.  I used my scholarship to Kiamichi to help defray my expenses, and I appreciate that scholarship very much." - Johnny Kornher

"I'm not telling you that it will be easy, I'm telling you it will be worth it" – Libby Ford

“At 53 I realized I may have to get back into the work force, but times have changed. I would need a High School Equivalency or no one would consider hiring me. I enrolled in the Poteau Adult Learning Center, thinking it would only take a few months, but boy was I wrong. It took me about 9 months to complete the program and I'm so glad I did. It's given me confidence. I love learning. Everyone at the Poteau Adult Learning Center were great. I left with some wonderful memories and new friends, both young and older.” -Connie Cabe
